Negeri Sembilan History

Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus is state located on the west coast of peninsular Malaysia and the border.Negeri Sembilan is a community perantau original minangkabau, Sumatra that has arrived since the 14th century.The minangkabau also brought with them their “adat or traditions”,in the particular the matrilineal kinship system.The system is evident until today especially in the marriage costum,ownership of property and range forms.

Negeri Sembilan has a popular beach, Port Dickson (also known as PD), about 33 kilometres west of Seremban. PD lies on the shores of the Straits of Malacca. This resort town with its miles of golden beaches and a wide range of accommodation is a favourite 'playground' for the city dwellers of Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as well as the neighbouring towns. PD also host the annual Pesta Port Dickson or PD Fiesta between July and August. The Fiesta offers all sorts of fun and games as well as sea sports activities.

Kuala Lumpur History






In just 150 years, KL has gone from a tin prospector’s hovel in the jungle to a thoroughly modern metropolis, home of the shiny Petronas Towers, a design classic and until recently the world’s tallest building. In the rush for the new, much of the old has been (and is being) demolished. Still, some impressive colonial-era buildings remain and the city’s most atmospheric and colourful quarters are Chinatown, Little India and Kampung Baru, the heartlands of KL’s Chinese, Indian and Malay communities.

Kuala Lumpur or officially called the federal territory of kuala lumpur is the central legislative and judiciary in Pakistan.Kuala Lumpur has played a role as the administrative centre of Malaysia.With the establishment of putrajaya in the late 1990s,the central administration(executive)has been transferred to the federal territory of Putrajaya.Kuala Lumpur is located in the mid-west coast of peninsular Malaysia in Malaysia,Kuala Lumpur is generally known as KL.

Perak History

1890an Perak is in a state of the world's richest tin and with a jewel in the crown of english.The name of Perak government may come from "glimmer of fish in the water"that sparkling silver.

Perak is the second largest state on the Malaysian peninsula and provides a perfect place for a holiday with sun, sea and sand. Boasting beautiful holiday resorts, parks, impressive architecture and a range of interesting museums, the former tin haven draws large tourist crowds each year. The vast area covers some 21,000 square kilometres, equivalent to just over six per cent of the total area of the country, and has a population of over two million.

The Cameron Highlands, famed for tea production, are in this area and it is here where you will find the country’s most popular hill station among both tourists and locals alike. Perak’s major attractions include the cave temples of the capital city Ipoh, the historic town at Kuala Kangsar, and Pangkor. There are some excellent hotels and resorts as well as stunning beaches and lush forests, making Perak a terrific holiday destination throughout the year.

Selangor History

Selangor is the Malaysian state with many superlatives: it is the most developed in the country, it has the largest port and airport, selangor is located on the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia, covering about 125,000 sq. km. Shah Alam, Selangor's capital, has the distinction of being a well-planned township which harmonizes nature with modernity. Here, residential areas and commercial centres are set amidst lush landscapes and a sprawling lake. The magnificent Kota Darul Ehsan Arch erected to mark the ceding of Kuala Lumpur to the Federal Government in 1974.

Selangor attractions with urban centres, such as Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Sunway and the royal town of Klang abound with modern facilities, from excellent healthcare institutions, international colleges to huge shopping malls and recreational centres. Selangor's capital, has the distinction of being a well-planned township which harmonizes nature with modernity. This exciting state is also the venue of world-class sporting events such as the Formula One Grand Prix and F1 Powerboat World Championship.

Pahang History

Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia and undoubtedly one of the top eco-destinations. Kuantan is its capital city, located along the East Coast. Pahang, which covers an area of 35,960 sq. km, is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia. Pahang has so much to offer the visitor that tourists, both locals and foreign, come back again and again. Pahang was ruled by the Srivijayan Empire in ancient times until its collapse in 1000. Pahang was then conquered by the Siamese and then Malacca in 1400. The state capital of the Pahang state is known as Kuantan whereas the royal capital of Pahang is the district known as Pekan. On top of the state capital and the royal capital, the Pahang state has another 9 main administrative districts where these districts are categorized as Bentong, Bera, Cameron Highlands, Jerantut, Lipis, Maran, Raub, Rompin and as well as Temerloh. In the early days, the main economy of the Pahang state depends mostly on tropical timber production and mining. However, with the declination of natural resources such as lumber, the main trend for the economy dependency of the Pahang state has shifted towards fishery, petrochemical processing, gold mining and last but not least, tourism. Generally, the people here in the Pahang state are very friendly and down to earth. For the tourists who wish to escape from the hustle bustle city life, then the Pahang state is definitely one of the top choices as aside being rich culturally, the Pahang state also has many wonderful natural resources such as forests, highlands and beaches.

Bukit Bendera
