Another alternative to get around Pulau Langkawi is by taxi. There are taxi stands at the jetty terminal, at major shopping centres and in central Kuah. Taxis here in Langkawi are unmetered, but the fares are quite reasonable. You can even rent taxis by the hour or day for touring the island and the charges are about RM 15 per hour.
